True story: I stayed in Hollywood Beach Resort last year and witnessed dozens of people coming from all over to spend some time in their favorite restaurant – O’Malley’s……just not to find it! The disappointment on their faces was difficult to describe…Little did they know that O”Malley’s is still “alive and kicking”, just on the second floor of the Resort. The restaurant, which is a landmark of Hollywood Beach has reinvented itself a few times, but the family bond with “regular and irregular” remains strong.

7 p.m. Saturday with a benefit for Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital. A $5
donation gets you a domestic beer, house cocktail or glass of wine, with free
bar bites available till 9 pm.
